It's simple, really. We need to make our own decisions.
TaxRollback.org's proposal will:
Immediately give us, taxpayers, control over our wallets.
Slowly reverse the vicious cycle that artificially destroys home values and drives business from Dallas.
Provide a "safety valve" for voters to slow the whole process down in case we find we're moving too fast.
Require the city staff and council to ask our permission as voters before making wallet decisions for us.
It's as simple as that.
